01 // DETAIL

PROPULSION

The fleet utilizes a dual-engine configuration as a standard to ensure total mechanical redundancy; single-engine architectures with auxiliary get-home motors are rejected in favor of independent propulsion circuits. Engine room specifications feature high-output Volvo Penta or MAN marine diesels, integrated with ZF transmissions equipped with trolling valves for precise, low-speed maneuverability. Power transmission is achieved through a direct angular output design, minimizing mechanical complexity and ensuring global serviceability. Propulsion units are seated on high-rigidity structural stringers reinforced with 8mm stainless steel plating to eliminate vibration. In extended-range configurations, the architecture incorporates full systemic redundancy across fuel, electrical, and hydraulic subsystems.

02 // DETAIL

CONSTRUCTION

All units are engineered and manufactured utilizing the Vacuum Infusion Process (VIP) for optimal weight-to-strength ratios. The hull utilizes a sandwich composite structure featuring a high-density foam core to enhance buoyancy and thermal performance. Critical structural nodes, including the: keel, bow, chine, and shaft line housing, are fabricated from pure solid laminate, reaching grammages of up to 19,800 g/m² in extreme-load areas. The longitudinal framework, comprised of six full-length girders, is engineered to manage severe dynamic stress. This composite matrix ensures that the hull maintains structural integrity under oceanic conditions, with superstructure fenestration utilizing high-thickness, impact-resistant glass compliant with CE-A ocean certification standards.

SEAWORTHINESS

The hull geometry is optimized for transoceanic stability, featuring a high-volume, near-vertical bow profile that maximizes internal space and mitigates deck wash. Each hull incorporates a dedicated bulbous cutting bow engineered to optimize hydrodynamic flow and dampen pitch in head seas. The stern section is optimized for roll reduction, minimizing side-to-side swaying. The vessel’s center of gravity is maintained at the lowest possible point through deep-seated machinery and ballast placement. Bow thruster tunnels and underwater exhaust geometries are verified via Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to eliminate drag-inducing vortices. Deck drainage is managed by high-capacity storm drains equipped with reverse-flow blockage, ensuring rapid water evacuation under heavy sea states.

NAVIGATION

The navigation and communication suite is based on a modular GARMIN architecture, scalable to full commercial FURUNO specifications. The baseline infrastructure includes dual independent GPS receivers, multifunctional displays, radar systems, and Class B AIS transponders. Extended configurations integrate commercial-grade equipment, including SSB MF/HF transceivers, open-array radar, Class A AIS, and satellite communication (Iridium) packages. Steering is managed by a heavy-duty hydraulic system featuring dual-cylinder actuation and variable-capacity pumps, with autonomous heading control provided by redundant autopilot processors. The yacht’s automation and telemetry are centralized via an integrated digital monitoring network (Empirbus).
